how to transfer saved courses (e.g. round trip) from Edge 1040 to Edge 1030 without PC?

I'm stuggeling who to transfer saved courses (e.g. round trip) from Edge 1040 to Edge 1030 without PC (but connected to mobile phone with "garmin connect" app).

Even I have saved courses on my Edge1040 I can't see them in garmin connect on my iphone as well as there is no "transfer to" "post" etc. in the connect app.

Does anyone has an idea how to transfer gpx/fit from 1040 to 1030?

Are the routes in GARMIN connect? If so, you don’t have to do anything. Just add the new unit to your account and send the route to the new device v

I have two saved courses on my Edge1040 but I can't see them in the garmin connect app (iphone) under "my routes".

I want to transfer saved courses to the Edge 1030's of my friends before we start cycling, so adding these devices to my account isn't an option.

So any idea how to get saved courses from Edge 1040 to Edge 1030?
