Auto lap based on course marks

Is it possible? Anyone in the forum know how to do this?

I would like to define a corse with Garmin Connect and place different lap marks on different course position.

Than I would like during my ride the Edge to be able to trigger a lap automatically every time a reach one of those mark.

If you set auto lap on position instead of time or distance, it should do it semi automatic. You will have to push the lap button once on each spot.
But, to be honest: I don’t know if this was a feature from the watches or bike computers.

Fully automatic isn’t possible.

it was on the edges, check the manual

No, that‘s not possible.

What you can do is: set course points as lap marks. You will get a beep and a message during your ride, when you pass that points. Then press the lap button.

yes I already know that option, but I would like to setup and prepare all the laps before to start the activity
