Edge 1040 / 1040 solar

Has anyone any idea how to disable physio true up on the 1040 series. I do not want it enabled and cannot find where it is to turn off. Im on version 19.22

    I believe you need to use the phone app while the is 1040 powered on and connected to your phone.

    thanks for the reply. Ive got the app open with the device connected in front of me and i just cant find it. garmin sent a few options but two arent available and the other two dont have true up

    For all registerd devices (without the „primary device“) you can disable Physio True Up via Garmin Connect Web (PC or Mac):

    right top tap the watch icon
    chose the (non primary) device
    turn off Physio True Up

    hey cheers for the reply, Im just after trying what u suggest and still no sign of the true up option.Ive tried attaching a screenshot but it wont allow me so I can describe the screen. 

    Theres two sections, "Primary Wearable" and "Primary Training Device".

    In the primary wearable is my tactix delta and forerunner 945, the tactix being the primary wearable.

    In the primary training device section, theres my tactix, edge 1040 & 1040 solar, with the tactix as my primary training device.

    Theres no other options on the page and when I tried changing the primary triaining device to either of the edges it does that without issue, and when I attempt to open the device settig from the PC, it says use the connect app to manage device settings, but when doing that theres no true up option

     Ive tried attaching a screenshot but it won't allow me and i know my wording is prob very confusing. 

    This is so stressful because every device I had prior to these edges all had an easy to find "disable physio true up" option

    Devices with Unified Training Status do not have the option to disable physio true up. See this FAQ for a list of devices: What is Unified Training Status?

    Thanks for the reply Maeve,  guess you solved my issue. Must be honest,  to disable true up is pretty bad form on garmin. Not every one wants all activities on all device's. A suggestion would be to put back the option too disable it and ask device user's what is wanted on device's.  Thanks for letting me know though

    while it does not guarantee a change in the software, we do have a ticket for those who wish for this to be an option. I can add you or anyone else who would like to.
