Starting an activity on Fenix 6 and edge in parallel

Hi, I own a fenix 6 as well as an edge 1040 since a few days. If I start Biking I was used to start the activity on my watch. Now I start it on both but on Garmin connect it shows up as two activities. If I would only start it on my edge how would the watch recognize this activity? Otherwise all my stats on the watch would go down, isn't it?

set the 1040 as primary training device and the F6 as primary wearable. the physioTrueUp will handle it and you will have only 1 GC activity but the stats will be the same in both devices.
