rollback to older version

I can't understand how garmin (the best brand in gps) launch a new version without test it in. With the versions 19.xx i have lose the climbpro at least in an activity without track and when it works it is wrong, I can't see in the map where my mates are....

Garmin please give me the option to rollback to the version where my gps worked fine, for me was 18.25

Thanks for it. But, how can i put in the gps? I'll lose the guarantee with it?

Copy the GUPDATE.GCD to the \Garmin directory on your 1040 device. After the device has restarted, the (downgrade) will be installed and you will receive a message.

I can't say whether you'll void the warranty because I'm not Garmin. But I DON'T believe because your device already knew the older firmware version.

I don't belong to Garmin... and... the Support will never answer your question about a downgrade in this way. Whatever you do, you do at your own risk (which it is not).

I do not believe that the ClimbPro "malfunction" is related to the firmware of the 1040 device. I've noticed that for some time now, when planning in the GC-portal or the GC-app, climbs that were previously displayed are missing. And both platforms are independent of any devices. To me it looks more like the ClimbPro database has been cleaned up.

Ok, it isn't a problem of the version.... why I can't see in the map where are my mates?

I don't know, I don't use the GroupTrack function.
As far as I know, you have to have your smartphone with you, it has to have a data connection, the pairing to the 1040 has to be active and GroupTrack has to be started.
The same applies to all other friends participating in GroupTrack.

If there is another problem, check the manual or start a new topic here to increase the chance of an answer.
