Battery life estimation still not fixed - indoor ride - firmware v.19.22, v.18.25, v.17.29

After 4 hours of indoor ride, battery went from 100% to 75%, this problem remains not fixed since the firmware 17.29. When I first bought 1040 a year ago, it only consumed about 5~6% of battery life. Garmin please help. This problem has been remaining for such a long long time.

    Thanks for replying. But I am still waiting for 19.22(Now, Edge 1040 ASIA , 18.25). Maybe after a couple of weeks until I finish testing 19.22 and I will report the result here.

    Battery issue is fixed in firmware v.19.22. After today's 2 hour indoor ride, battery life changes as below: 95% to 91%, 49h to 46h. Thank god, this problem is finally fixed, thanks Garmin.

    Throughout the indoor ride test these days, in v.19.22, this issue is still not fix. Take my indoor ride yesterday as example: "4.5hours indoor ride" + "battery life went from 100% to 73%", if we calculate this and will get the total estimated battery life = 16.6hours.

    Did the advertisement of Edge 1040 when I first bought a year ago claim that it's battery life is amazingly long as 45 plus hours? Garmin please help fix this issue, again(v.17.22, v18.25, v19.22 all failed to fixed this problem), thanks.
