Why would the speed, distance fail to display and record skid run although the GPS worked?

Was the timer button pressed? You still need to start and stop the activity.

good question. Yes the timer was pressed. I had stopped to take a photo and had stopped and started the right hand button. The display’s frame went from red to green too so I had an elapsed time.
