FTP Calculation Failure if the Device Enters Sleep Mode During an Activity

Why don’t you disable sleepmode ?

( or why do you use it ? )

If you pause an activity, the device automatically goes into sleep mode.  Garmin would have to remove it from the firmware.

If „Profile -> Auto sleep“ is disabled, the device does not go to sleep when paused! 
(Just tested for 15 minutes. V 19.22)

Oh, I'm totally turning this on.  Sleep mode has never worked!

I wish Garmin would stop adding stupid features that I have to disable.  Why not (1) add a QWERTY keyboard.  (2) How about an Odometer that I can set to whatever per profile?  Or, better yet, multiple customizable Odometers so I can track bike parts?

Instead of sleep mode, they should call it, "CORRUPT ALL NON-SAVED DATA MODE!"

I will be using your cunning technique to finally get a decent FTP, currently it just calls me "poor" or "untrained" , at least it will stop wanting to increase it by a watt or two at the end of rides.
