Disable Map view on Climb Pro - 1040

How can I get the Climb Pro view back as I had it originally?

I now have two fields on the bottom (Power and Cadence that I can change), and then the elevation graph with my position on it.

and above recently now also a MAP. It takes away a lot of space and I do not need nor want the map at all.

How can I get rid of the MAP in Clim Pro?

see the screen from the GARMIN webpage describing the climb Pro feature, with how I had it before. How I get that back?

Does anyone know how to do it?

Use navigation to a location or course and the climbpro map will disappear

Well, that does not work, as then you are locked into a ride, and I do not want to create a tour for every ride I do.
This is not a solution at all.

I would even say: It should be the other way around:
- You use a course, navigation, and then it shows you a map
- You do use a course, then it does not show a map.

Or let you turn off that field. should not be so hard. but always having the map in view is annoying. I want to focus on the climb.

I dont want navigate only for reppair a stupid behaviour. They must fix it.

This is really annoying and that the map disappearing while routing makes no sense at all.

Garmin developers - are you even using these devices? (probably you don't even cycling at all...) I don't believe that anyone who use this feature at least once - will say it works great - IT IS A FAILURE! It should be registered as a BUG.

Please use a common sense here:
1) When you navigate (you have selected route) - you need to see where to go, right? So why the *** you popup Climb Pro - and at the same time disable map, wtf???
2) When you free ride (no navigation, because you know the route) - you enable map on Climb Pro even you don't need that, because it is free ride, wtf???

Please, stop making auto decisions what is the best for rider - MAKE CONFIGURATION OPTIONS - so that users / riders can select when they want to see map, or not. What's wrong with you???

Do you really think that if you use that tone that developers will listen to you?
I understand the frustration, but being nice never hurt anyone.

If someone would talk that way about work you did would you help them?

Edge1050 Regardless of whether it is a free ride or navigation course, climbpro has a map. I think 1040 will adopt it in the next software version update.

You are Garmin Developer . Go, and do your job - that issue exist a few years and it's not solved, and instead fixing issue you are asking here to be nice.
So many issues are ignored, and takes too many time to solve (years) or just ignore customers
