Map Centers itself back on my Position when I want to swipe to an area outside the screen. Do I miss something?

I press the hand Symbol on the map and want to swipe through the area. Why is this not possible anymore?

Did I miss a setting?

Works for me perfectly fine on Edge 1040 Solar and software 19.19. Does the hand icon change to a target icon when you press it?
