Garmin Edge 1040 and AXS

I set up the Garmin to show which gear you're in on the cassette and also showing the battery level on the paddle shifter and the derailleur. Is it going to steal battery power from the AXS shifter and derailleur?

It might , but I’ve not experienced less battery time -on my 3 bikes with Sram etap/axs- than stated by Sram. So go ahead
