At the moment, the app to control the music being played only allows you to stop it, start it, adjust the volume and go to the next/previous tracks. It does show the current "position" of the track being played, but does not allow you to select any of its positions.
This is of importance to me, where I often listen to concerts recorded as a single track that last an hour or two. Sometimes I'd like to jump to a specific place of the played track.
Given that the Edge 1040 has a touchscreen, it would be very convenient to add a progress bar at the bottom of the screen, the playback position of which could be adjusted by sliding my finger.
P.S. I know that similar "Feature Request" will appear in the Beta section , but apparently in order to create topics in it you have to join the beta program, which I am not too keen on, hence the topic here. Maybe it will be read by someone from Garmin who can pass the topic on for consideration.
