It happens to me that Climb Pro without preloaded route does not work in some roads around me. I am reading in some places problems with this feature that sounds me the same problem than mine. The feature works perfect in the majority of roads but i ride some roads where the feature does not work. Roads that are open and legal for bicicles. Always happen in the same roads for any strange reason. I think Garmin must study this behaviour because is too evident that there is a problem. I left a pic where you can see the ascents in this ride works fine until i ride on the N611 road that is one of the roads i realiced climb pro does not work. Inside the red square must be a climb pro ascent (The biggest on this route) but in this N611 road never appears Climb Pros ascents.This is the Ascent does not appears in Strava 1,2kms 5,5% slope; https://www.strava.com/segments/26164622?filter=my_results .Some ideas?
