1040 Solar doesn't sync courses from Edge to GC

If I create a new course on the Edge 1040 Solar, it never appears in GC. Any ideas? As far as I can tell the sync completes on the Edge, but I never see any courses I had created on the device using Navigation -> Courses -> +.

I rebooted the phone and the Edge but nothing.

The sync only works from Garmin Connect (either Web or App) to the device, not the other way around.
