K-edge Mount for 1040

Hello,

I am about to purchase/receive a Garmin Edge 1040. I used to have a Garmin Edge 530, using a K-edge Sport mount.

Does anyone know if this mount is long/strong enough to hold the 1040? If not, is there a better one I need to upgrade to?

The issue is whether it's long enough. (It's certainly strong enough.)

Their website suggests it might be too short.

I have the Max XL and there's not a ton of space between the 1040 and the bar/stem

Won't work if it's the short mount, you have to buy the XL or max mount . I just sold my old one to the same friend that bought my 830 because it just won't fit on it.

I have the K-edge sport TT model. Thus far, has worked fine for me.
