Sensors not connecting on wake from sleep since 18.23 update

Since updating the firmware last week, I've noticed that my sensors (HR, Speed/Cadence, Trainer (when indoors)) don't connect when I wake up my 1040 Solar from sleep.

Rebooting the device solves the problem but I didn't have to do that with the prior version of the firmware.

Is anyone else encountering this?

I have been having this problem for about 6 months, its very annoying.

garmin will surprise us every day with the edge 1040,

Since I have had this GPS I have never encountered a disconnection of the power sensor,
but since fw 18.23, I encounter the same problem described in this topic

I’ve had a number of occasion where my power meter doesn’t connect after waking from sleep too. But it connects to my Fenix immediately.
