No beep tones

Since firmware 17.29 my edge 1040 solar is struggeling with beep tones on start-up, navigation, pairing sensors and shut down. In that version of the firmware I still had rides in which I occasionaly had beep tones. Since the latest version the beep tones are completely gone?! Anyone Else having this issue?

If you no longer have any tones after going to the menu > system > tones, please contact your locale's support at support.garmin.com
