Problem with Di2 connection after update to firmware 18.23

hello everyone.

Since I updated to firmware 18.23 the connection with my Di2 does not work correctly. The gears are displayed delayed and the handlebar controls do not work until pressed many times.

I would appreciate including this issue as an improvement in the next firmware version

    Same issue here with the latest firmware (20.19) on my Garmin Edge 1040 Solar and the latest Di2 on BOTH of my bikes. I`m located in Germany. Seriously Garmin. This issue persists for more than TWO MAJOR releases- Fix this asap. And you can reach out directly through email/phone/...

    Thanks, but I‘m not using Garmin betas anymore. They screwed my over (big time) when trying to help solve an issue with a Fenix 7/Enduro 2 and my Stryd sensor and later (even worse) when using Stryd and Core temp sensor. Ever since I stayed away from any beta firmware whatsoever.

    I have zero interest in setting up my devices from scratch again.

    And since Garmin has dropped support for Virb camera silently on the 1040 series (it’s still available on 1030 devices) I‘m very selective about updates.

    People need to read Maeve’s post properly. She asked for Direct Messages. In her first post this can’t be seen on a phone as the text doesn’t wrap but the 2nd one can.

    fwiw my Di2 8100 works fine with my 1040. Similar to the post above, there’s about a 1s delay on the page change button but the gear display is pretty fast.

    I for one responded via direct message and provided the requested logs SEVEN MONTHS AGO. Di2 connection to my 840 remains broken with nothing but silence from Garmin.

    Silence and nothing changed so far, as I've provided them my logs that have been extracted from my 1040 solar being used with Di2.

    I don't know about all of you, but the new 21.16 software cured all my ANT+ issues.

    5hrs of riding and the DI2 connection is perfect and 0 drops for my 4iiii power meter.

    I just hope they don't f it up in the next one.

    Just installed 21.16 and went for a ride. First ride without di2 connection issues for me since the introduction of this bug. Looks promising!
