I was really excited about the 18.23 update adding alphanumerical postal code support, expecting to be able to navigate to addresses by entering the Dutch postal code (e.g. '1234 AB') and house number. However, while I'm now able to enter the full postal code (with and without a space between numbers and letters), it never finds any results. Searching by numbers alone, it seems like the postal code database only contains the numerical part of the postal code. This is useless, since I then still have to enter the street name, making the partial postal code superfluous.
Have Garmin really added a search functionality without the necessary corresponding address database information?
