Map disappearing from screen and then refreshes + routing issues.

Hello all, two things I've noticed. One was tonight during a ride and one issue that has been going on for quite a while.

Tonight when I was riding and had the map screen on, I noticed that the roads on the map screen work their way down and then disappear for a bit and then it comes back and work this way down to the bottom and disappears again. That was some point I had it where I didn't come back and I had to swap screens to get the math screen back. I've never encountered this on any of my Garmin units before. No Route/Course was loaded, just bog standard screen.
I noticed that the routing seems to be a bit off as of late. The Garmin unit is also telling me to go against traffic which I don't believe it should be doing.
