The title of this thread is misleading.  This is a Beta version, not an official release.  Bugs are expected in betas... Repost your issues here: forums.garmin.com/.../edge-1040-series---18-xx-bug-reports

Could you post the workout you are using?

I am not sure what you are asking.  Software version?  As far as I know 17.29 which is the latest released version. Or did you mean to reply to JBOTT?

That is very disappointing after the efforts in past months to document these issues

I found the workout issue you described and submit that to Garmin.

Were you responding to JBOTT? i encountered the same issue with the workout page an reported it under https://forums.garmin.com/beta-program/edge-1040-series/public-beta-bug-reports/i/edge-1040-series---18-xx-bug-reports/workout-page-is-missing-the-workout-step-target-which-makes-it-useless. There seems to be no other report about it, unless I missed something.

Or is there a better way to report issues to Garmin? I know plenty of other reproducible bugs. Like https://forums.garmin.com/beta-program/edge-1040-series/public-beta-bug-reports/i/edge-1040-series---17-xx-bug-reports/going-back-to-a-repeat-workout-step-with-skip-last-rest-breaks-the-workout-page. Except I can't easily re-verify with the new beta because... the target step value is missing :-P
