Edge 1040 and Smart trainer virtual ride resistance problem

Hi, i have some kind of problem or maybe not. Anyway i have  courses on my garmin 1040 unit that i rode in real world, and when i want ride that course virtually on my smart trainer( Elite Justo) on flat segments everything is ok but even slight climb like 1% garmin set it on trainer that it feels like 15%  and on climb that i know is 8% garmin set my trainer to full 24% and i cant ride anymore . Is there a special way to set up properly such kind of riding ? Changing wheel size in sensor setting doesn't do anything. Any suggestions how to eleminate this problem ? Maybe i have to convert FIT file to some other format that it work properly?
