Map Update crashed twice - no base map

Hi,

GarminConnect Mac 7.17.2.0 crashed twice during the map update [EUROPE]. Then it did not show me any more updated and that everything is fine…yeah right.

When booting the 1040 i did see for a glimpse of second that the "Base map is not loading"

Questiion: Is the base map really important?

How do I obtain a correct map set? Thank you!

yes I have the same issue
after few try got message that I do not have enough freee space

so I go to manage maps and unselected US routable keeping only Europe

hope that it will helps

but is there a way to check what is taking so much space ?? as I have only 7GB free

no its is even worse as now I have 900MB of free space

there is some issue with it

For my part it's the same too ... crash during the update suddenly the climbpro function has disappeared and in the map function I no longer have the climbpro maps
