Glitches with 17.29 and new North America Maps

I'm experiencing the following:

a) Course climbs are out of sync: Climbs on climb pro either start early or late, so the current climb is never correct. The map and position is accurate, it's just the climbs on Climb Pro.

b) Erroneous turn around alerts: Almost everytime I'm riding a course I'll get a wrong turn around alert. The map and position are accurate (clearly on course).

c) Climb Pro screens: When I'm on a climb and Climb Pro kicks in, the screen order gets messed up on any activity profile, as the climbing screens are moved around.

c) Greyed out areas in maps: This happened twice after I first updated the firmware and maps (North America). The map would have greyed out areas where the position vector would move through, but there would be map section displayed (a vector moving through a grey space). This was solved by reinstalling the North America map.

d) Installation of the new maps to get the new features of Climb Pro took several attempts. SEVERAL. I was left mapless for almost a week as I had to delete the old maps in order to install the new ones.

e) Can you kill the climb completion tone? Your heart was in the right place, but it's as cheesy as it gets.

It's frustrating to not being able to have a stable firmware. All my friends with Hammerheads, and online reviews, point to their firmware as being the most bug-free. Garmin, perhaps you should poach a couple of senior developers from Hammerhead, because I truly believe that the Edge 1040 could be the absolute best head unit with these hardware specs, it's just that the software makes it punch waaaaay below its weight.
