The tones on my 1040 solar stopped working

The tones on my 1040 solar has stopped working even though the calculator is turned on normally,
It happened after a software update

If you are not hearing any tones from your Edge despite tones being enabled (go to the menu on the Edge > system > tones), please contact your locale's support at support.garmin.com

I got this issue with my 1040 and I had to send my whole unit back to Garmin get this fixed.

After getting your unit back, please check the touch screen carefully. Mine has to be sent back twice for the touch completely not working.
