Solar edge 1040 unit run time.

I purchased this unit coming from my 1030 on the premise that it would give me far more usage time between charges , on watching a number of YouTubers advocating the 1040’s ability to go way beyond 24hrs continuous use …on swiping down from the top panel and pressing on the battery icon I only ever see a maximum of 19hrs of usage time and that is with map hidden , backlight reduced , gps turned to minimum etc ….have I been duped ?

There is currently a bug in the reported time.

I did the Unbound Gravel 200 miler with it last weekend and had close to 60% battery left at the end

Thanks good to know , my first ride last week with it was 2 hrs long and it was down to 69% I thought that was a bit much considering the reported run times....I have a 24hr event in 2 months and it would be great yo run it full blast without worry.

The mud was even worse than it looked and those who tried to ride it paid for it. I walked for a total of ~80 minutes through the three mud sections. The longest one - about 3 miles - is the one that was in the news. In addition there was very high heat/humidity through the early afternoon, followed by a severe thunderstorm and downpour at midpoint. In short, Unbound 2023 delivered :-)
