Roundabouts, roundabouts, roundabouts. Not one of them is Magic.

assume you’re in the UK? I have had this in the past but haven’t noticed this issue recently. Are you on the latest maps and software (not sure which generates the turn image)?

Yes in UK. 

Latest maps. Just checked and am up to date. 

Don't think it's the maps per se. It seems to be the way the unit treats roads/roundabouts. It seems to be preprogrammed to assume that we drive on the right. 

Maps display correctly but it is quicker just to look at the little arrow to check when to turn. But on roundabouts that I don't know it is confusing. 

T junctions and crossroads are no problem because which side we drive on has no effect. 

Here is a photo, shot in bright sun, showing what I mean.

the big map clearly shows going round the roundabout to the left. The banner at the top shows goping round to the right.

Self evidently my maps are correct. But maps are for Europe and most of them drive on the wrong side too. Logic says the unit is set up for RH drive.

How do I change this?

Yes, that is exactly the problem.

I'm trying to get Garmin support to talk to me. We live in hope!

That could be really dangerous especially in confined areas like town centres.

Well I've asked the great and the good, or as they are more usually known - geeks, at Garmin and they don't know what is going on or how to correct it.

Bottom line seems to be don't trust Garmin anywhere near roundabouts.

I've got an open ticket with support (that's now gone to engineering) on exactly this. I am on a new device, fully up to date and latest software.  I'm being told they've not seen it before, but I can find plenty of posts going back a year or more. I'm not letting it drop, and I think as a community we should be putting combined weight on Garmin to sort it out.

Garmin suddenly came back to me shortly after my last post. 

No answers just more questions. I pointed them to this forum- as if they don't know about it - but I don't expect an answer anytime soon. 

Can I ask which route planning tool you use?

I drew all my routes on Connect. It's a constant pain
