This morning I received an email from Garmin with the following announcement in it:
"With your Android
smartphone, create custom messages through the Garmin Connect app. You can send them directly from your device to friends, family or your riding partners as you go — even when you’re the first to text."
I am able to set up custom messages, but unable to figure out how to send them directly from the 1040 "to friends...even when you're the first to text."
