New Edge 1040 Series Version 17.26 NOT Available

Garmin-Matthew, would you mind making an another announcement when version 17.26 really is available? Garmin Express happily reports upon connecting with my Edge 1040 Solar that it is up to date with version 16.13. I've noticed before it's often weeks (or months) before new versions truly are available. Hence, the request if you could please announce it when that is the case. Thank you very much.

maybe new to Garmin, their definitions and how they do things! . "Available" in Garmin lingo is: "Will be available in due course, depending on your country, area and other user grouping that we will not announce to anyone, just hold tight" ! :-) , normally it is rolled out to most countries/users within 3-6 weeks. you'll get used to them. your best chance is to keep trying their very old looking, clunky software, ironically named "express", but that hit and miss too.

Thanks! Oddly, they sent an email overnight: “Your Edge 1040 Has New Features”. I fell for it and once again hooked up to Express. I am keenly awaiting this, since on many rides the sensors do not connect and I need to power off and on to get it working again.

Dear Garmin-Matthew -- I have got an Edge 1040 unit couple of days back in India and is still stuck at 16.13 even when hooked to the Express. My Epix updates were super smooth, but i got the device from the US. Why is this discrimination of bringing updates late to certain regions? Would want to know if there is a valid reason.

I also couldn't find any Join Beta program link for Edge 1040. Confused where the issue is.
