I was lucky enough to have the new 17.26 update show up on my 1040 solar this morning just before my mtb ride. loaded it up, loaded the new maps and off i went, not really sure what to expect. the trails i rode today i've ridden literally a thousand times, but i was surprised to see 4 climbs show up as i was riding. pretty cool to see all of these little climbs were mapped in the middle of a forest in new jersey, and they were quite accurate as far as grade, elevation and relative position within the climb. love how this was implemented (climbpro screen just pops up on top of whatever screen you're on and disappears when you're done) and it really amazed me how exciting it made the same boring old climbs. a couple of other climbs showed up as well but i turned onto different trails (and the climbpro screen just seamlessly disappeared). i did notice post ride there are some bugs in GC both the web version and mobile (android) as the elevation chart doesn't seem to be rendering (it's completely black on mobile and on the web the coloring is for the avg gradient for the entire chart) but i'm sure this will be fixed soon.
this is a great feature and i'm really excited to use it this summer. outstanding work Garmin!
