Any one know the new version fixed the gradient delay or NOT?

NOT according to beta testers and NOT according to the Garmin-Matthew post 12 days ago (below), but Garmin are working on it, especially now with the introduction of the Climb Pro anywhere feature.

thank you....by the way, I still do not receive upgrade notification from Garmin Express or 1040 device.

rollout currently still at 50% so - hang on a while longer.

I deleted gradient tab from my screen, but I have two observations:

1) total ascent on a hilly road course looks ok. I have to check it on an MTB course, where Edge gave the worst numbers of ascent
2) total ascent on a pancake flat course is terrible I mean there is no ascent but Edge 1040 gives it a lot
