Editing daily suggested workouts

  1. I want to add in a secondary target (into the daily suggested workout. I can do it for the suggested workout for today, but cannot do it for tomorrows suggested daily workout or any of the other future daily suggested workouts. When I select any of the future daily suggested workouts, and try to edit, the menu pages show me todays workout and not the future workout I picked.

  • I have the exact same issue.

  • Further to having the same issue, if today is a rest day, and you select tomorrow's base workout, the preview screen is correct, but when you start the workout it sets the power requirement to 1000-1001% of FTP.

You also can’t select a future day suggested workout, it always selects todays one, which is very annoying

Very buggy system with selecting future workouts.

  • How do you edit a suggested workout? That sounds like a great feature, but I do not have the edit icon in the upper right corner when I choose suggested workouts. I only have that for workouts I created myself.

Regarding falling back to today's workout, I have the same issue. Selecting a future workout from the calendar shows the correct preview, but tapping the big "Ride" button starts today's workout, which looks like the dumbest bug ever :-)

Perhaps we should open a separate thread (in the beta forum?), as starting a wrong workout looks like a straightforward bug that Garmin folks might be interested in.

  • It now seems with Garmin recent firmware update v17.26 that editing of suggested daily workouts is no longer possible Slight frown

  • ..Also, you still can't select a future day's workout if there is a workout suggested for today. Only it it's a rest day, or you have already done today's workout can you choose a futre date's one!

  • I also noted that. If you have a suggested daily workout for today, let’s say a ‘base ride’, but you feel like choosing a ‘Threshold ride’ which is suggested for tomorrow, the 1040 defaults back to the ‘base ride’ that was suggested for today.

This seems to limit the usefulness of this feature, or am I missing something?
