Garmin edge 1040 Solar no Strava segments or maps

Nothing I do allows me to access my strava routes or strava segments. I am able to get my routes with RidewithGPS IQ app no problem, but no climb pro feature pop ups on a climb. I will add that I am syncing ride data with Strava with no issue at the end of a ride.

The point is, yours works. Ours do not. No auto adding of courses to our accounts.

Actually I've found it thanks aweatherall. Under Training. I hadn't expected it to be there. I've given it a push. Hopefully a success...

Issue resolved:

first had to go into strava and un-star all my routes.
then I had to disconnect the communication between Garmin and Strava.
checked a star on one of the routes on strava.
reconnected via the connect app on my phone
clicked the sync icon and it finally started to sync.
