How to see installed apps while riding

I added some apps to my 1040 in Garmin Connect and I can see that they are on my device. But how do I get them to appear during rides?

I added

  • Force Vector Viewer
  • SpH Graph
  • Power Edge Pro CL
  • WindField Live Wind and Weather
  • komoot
  • MY EDGE 2

I thought they would show up and i would be able to scroll between them while riding, but that didn't happen. Then I checked Activity Profile/Data Screens but I can't see the apps there.

What am I missing?

    How you access the app depends on the type of the app.

    Force Vector Viewer, SpH Graph, Power Edge Pro CL, WindField Live Wind and Weather, My Edge 2 are data fields. This means you need to add them to one of your data pages. Some of these fields require a data page with 1 field, because the data field is "full screen". This is usually mentioned in the installation instructions, so check the app info on the Connect IQ site.

    Komoot is a device app, so this is accessed via the Connect IQ entry in the main menu on the Edge 1040.

    There are also other types of Connect IQ apps:

    * Glances are small info fields that are displayed on the home page on the device, see the manual.

    * Widgets, these can be accessed by swiping done from the top of the screen and swiping left or right to view other widgets. See this page in the manual.
