I don't know what country you're in and that may be the issue but in the United States your birthday is the date that you turn the next age. In other words you're 20 years old until your birthday and you become 21. That's the age you're able to drink legally, not the day before.
Is it possible that you're in a country that measures from January 1st but your device thinks you're in the United States?
That's weird, in Italy (and in the rest of Europe I believe) your age would be considered 48. For the same reason toddler age is measured in months until they reach one year of life.
