Physio True Up Compatibility with Fenix 6

Does anyone here have experience of the compatibility of the Edge 1040 (for rides) and the Fenix 6 (for everything else) in the Garmin Ecosystem?
Will things get mixed up because of different algorithms calculating Training Load, Rest times, etc differently?
Looking forward to hearing some first-hand experiences.

I regularly get different training workouts from my 1040 and my forerunner 955.

On Friday it was raining so I looked what my watch was recommending for indoor trainer workouts and then I synced and checked my 1040. Both were different and this happens a lot, my watch is set as my primary device.

the Fenix 6 and 1040 are compatible with unified training status. If you record an activity with the non-primary training device (which in most cases is the Edge as you wear the watch most of the time), sync your Edge again after you sync the primary device, so the metrics that the primary device has calculated load back to the Edge. So think of it like you are needing to sync the edge twice.

I synced my watch and my 1040 several times, my preference is always to use my 1040 on the trainer but I wanted to ride the workout on the watch.
