Map as data field

I saw some images of the Edge 1040 with a tiny map and the course as small data field. This is on the power guide page.

Is it possible to add this to a general data page as well on the 1040, so that it can be combined with for example 7 other custom data fields? I would like to have the map always available, but it does not need to be as big as on the standard map field.

I'm this moment is not possible. Sadly, that is a fixed page for the Power Guide (where you can customize only the 2 fields on the bottom).

I would like to do the same as you suggest, or be able to add 4 fields to map on the Edge 1040.

But for now, we can't.

I'd love to see this feature in the future. It shouldn't be that hard, especially since there are already 2 versions of this available: On the existing power guide page as well as the new CLIMBPRO screen.
