How to capture a video of the screen while in use (EDGE 1040)? (Sorry if this was asked before)

I'm trying to create a video capture of the screen while I use the EDGE 1040.

I know that this was possible before, Is it still? and if so how?

There is a hidden option to do screen recording that is currently only in the beta builds.

It will take screenshots and save them at a frequency of 2 Hz as bitmap files. You can then use a tool such as…

a BT file transfer possibility (for normal screenshots and this "video" shots, but in general, for the entire file system) would be good in these newer Garmin units, its battery is big, and better (for lifetime) to charge from 10-100% than always plug it in USB and do a file transfer and charge. Honestly, nobody wants to plug it if the battery level is high, a hardcore cyclist also charges these units in every 2 weeks?! A missing feature imho , to make the unit totally "wireless" (except the charging, yet)

Could you explain how to enable this feature? I always see GPLama recording videos of Garmin Edge devices, but I didn't find any app/feature to enable this.

It is only available in the beta releases and shows under system menu
