Did they fix the "line too thin on tracks" ?

I'm about to buy a new cycle GPS. I've had a lot of garmin, and I upgraded from 800 to 830 recently.

The line for permanent tracks is absolutely too thin and it's a big step back from the previous generations.

I use this feature a lot, and I see they did not fix it on Edge 830. Did they fix it on Edge 1040?

Honestly Garmin, I won't buy another of your devices with this faulty behavior. (and I've had 205, 305, 605, 705, 800, 830).
