Edge 1040 won’t turn on

I have plugged the device in and it says fully charged, but it won’t turn on. Tried holding power button for 10sec and 30 sec. Then tried hold power button and lap button for 30 secs nothing. Have left on power for 1 hour nothing.
can anyone help??

What happens when you connect it a computer with a USB-cable?

Nothing. It just won’t turn on. I have a device that tells me how much the battery is charged and it says battery is fully charged.

peterdyer try plugging the edge back in to power and holding the power button for at least 45 seconds at the same time.

Try holding the lap button down and then connecting the USB cable from the PC. Key holding the lap button down for maybe up to 1 minute and see if you can force the unit into mass storage.
