Garmin edge 1040 solar not updating

My garmin edge 1040 solar is still on 15.23 firmware. Its not detecting the newer firmware and its telling me that i am on latest software. I am based in india. How do i get the new update. I tried the wifi way on the edge computer and the garmin express way. Any way to update it to latest software?

I'm guessing that you have a regional model for which the software update has not yet been made available.

Historically the regional build(s) tend to lag by about 1 month.

I'm seeing the same issue for the latest 17.26 firmware update for the 1040 Solar. Does yours show an update to this build?

No, it's still on 16.13
