Well it installed on mine the other day and it’s working fine. I suspect it’s also installed on 1000’s of users just the same. The relatively small amount of people reporting problems on here suggests that for nearly everyone else it is ok. Don’t let the noise of 1% of issues cloud the judgement of 99% who just don’t say anything as they don’t have problems.
Sure I’m not saying those that do have problems are to be ignored or they are imagined. Of course they have an issue and it’s annoying for them and needs fixing.
if you read there issues you need to think if that’s likely it will affect you or not and decide yourself. By the way on the sensors problem I would say nearly everyone uses sensors but I’m seeing few saw issues. I normally connect at least 4 sensors (Polar H10, Stages G2, Garmin speed/Cadence & Varia RTL515) and not one has caused a problem.
Really? Where are these 1000’s of users? So far it’s just you mentioning this?
My 1030 did this all the time. So far a few versions back so did my 1040 to be fair. But last few updates I’ve not seen the issue. I guess this could be a “special” Garmin feature!
