Very disappointed - Strava Segment

It is truly incredible that even today the 1040 does not have all the functions worked which the previous models (1030 and 1030 plus) have, I am referring mainly to the functions related to the segments of Strava, for example:
- when a segment starts but is not completed, it is signaled but the navigation seems to continue (as if the segment is operational) blocking the start of the following segments. to remedy the problem you have to manually stop the navigation and in doing so the following segments that are faced become operational.
- Strava Segment Explorer widget is not working well
- when a segment is faced at the end, once completed, the time carried out is displayed for a few seconds but it is not memorized immediately, so going to see the segments that have been faced (during the exit) the result just carried out is not reported. You have to wait to finish the lap and go to see the summary at the end of the exit.

    Yes, I think this is because Garmin team is incompetent. Like the support team.

    I have the same issues with navigation on segments and then having to stop the navigation before it'll load any further ones. Really annoying. Their solution is to turn off the navigation for the segments which isnt a solution, its a bodge.

    Hi I can confirm the latest firmware has not fixed the issue. Navigation on Segments has to be off otherwise there's a constant need to micromanage it by stopping navigation from off course segments or not ridden segments. Also, passing by a segment and not activating it will give repeated 'off course' messages and beeping maybe 5-6 times over the course of the next 20-40m which is pretty annoying to say the least. Coming from a Garmin 530 (which worked perfectly) to this mess is really frustrating.

    I have decided to completely disconnect the Strava Segments, with the 1030+ I never had problems, in the 1040 they have never worked from the beginning, today they still do not work......tired of having to reset the device to fix it
