Change color of radar vehicle dots?

New 1040 user, running with a Varia 510 radar unit. The color of the dots that appear when vehicles are approaching is white, superimposed on a light gray background. With sunglasses the dots aren't as obvious as they could be. Is there a way to change the color of those dots?

    I agree it would be nice if they were red.  However, the red vertical bars that illuminate when the radar picks up a car is a real problem as they block the digits on the screen.  I have 10 items displayed and need the full screen to clearly see all of the data.
