how much should the km limit be so that the 1040 doesn't crash while navigating a planned track?

I ask this question because on Friday I left my home loading a track planned with Komoot of 300 km to be done in two days and the 1040 initially started calculating the route then all by itself rebooted and started again. Then changing pages while browsing I noticed that it was very slow, I think due to the length of the track. Is everything normal for a 750 euro device?
p.s. I only had the heart rate monitor.

That length shouldn't be any issue. I regulary load tracks of 350-500km (also planned with komoot) and never had any problems or felt some sluggishness.

I recently did a 360km, and split the track in 3...Is it better ??? I do not know...but I prefer to have smaller tracks to manage. But now I found a really bad buf, have a look:

I just did a 300k route this past weekend with no issues with the current firmware. I have previously done courses as long as 600k with no issues and plan to do so again within the next 2 months.
