Garmin Edge 1040 linked to RCT715 - Audio Warning

I have just purchased both a Garmin 1040 Edge and RCT715 Radar Camera. Only tried the radar out for a couple hundred metres today...seems to function fine.. However, it would be great if the audio could be sent to phone output like some other readings eg heart rate . I wear bone conducting head phones while riding and this would really work for me...ideas anyone?

The RCT715 does have it's own phone app. You can pair it to the Edge and the phone at the same time.

I like the Varia app in that it also gives you battery status of the RCT715 and the ability to quickly take a snapshot or a locked recording. It also has a more distinctive gong sound when something is approaching from behind. I happen to ride with my phone on my stem so this works well for me.
