my Garmin rally rs100 is not doubling the power with garmin edge 1040. Is there any option tab in garmin edge 1040 which allows me to double single sided power.

I have made sure it's connected thru ant+, I have calibrated it, removed and again connected. Still nothing. It's giving half the power. An Rs100 was supposed to double the left sided power, that was mentioned on the manual
So it is the power meter that should double the power if it thinks it is a single sided system and not the Edge.
With the sensor connected go to the sensor details and check that does not think it is paired to another pedal. If the option shows unpair then select it.
Thank you for taking out time to reply. the rally isnt paired to another pedal. Theres an option which says LINK TO RIGHT SIDE PEDAL. Its in blue.
Have you ridden with power before? Just interested in what you are using as basis to determine that the power is 50% of what it should be.
I'm assuming that the crank length is correctly set and that you have performed a calibration?
My shimano meter is giving almost double the power on the outdoor bike. I am using rally on an indoor assault airbike. I checked the power without using the arms, only the pedals. of course theres a subjectivity element of percieved exertion. Even the console on airbike is giving 80% more reading tahn rally power meter. Yes. the rally auto calibrates each time i use. Crank length is 170 and i measured that.
Did you do a manually calibration? What software build are the pedals on?
Yes i calibrated them manually too. On version 14.10
