Strava Live Segments not syncing

I can see the strava segments on the garmin connect website, so garmin has access to them, but every time on the actual device, when i scroll to the live segment, it says to please sign in.

I have linked/unlinked accounts, synced, turned off, etc, etc. I'm out of ideas!

I have exactly the same problem on the Edge 1040 solar since the 2nd latest update. Can't use segments now and is really annoying. I've tried to relink the accounts from Garmin and strava ends with no luck. All the correct boxes still seem to be ticked. Have used this without issue for years. Any help would be appreciated.

I hate that this is the only way, but I had to reset my device, "Delete Data and Settings", to get it working again.

At least it's less of a hassle now, to setup all the screens again, since they sync some stuff to the "cloud". I had to install ConnectIQ stuff again though, not as painful as it use to be, but still shouldn't be the only way since so many people are experiencing this issue.

When you say "reset" can you please let me know how you did that? Was it a "Reset Default Settings" or "Delete Data and Reset Settings"? Thanks in advance.
