Hi all - I'm in the Middle East for the holidays and was surprised to find no maps appearing on my 1040, as I thought one of the selling features was global map coverage. No such maps on Garmin Express and a quick check of the Garmin support site suggested a $119 cost if I wanted to download. Is there any other way to get road cycling maps onto the Garmin [at less/no cost]?
