Komoot IQ - thumb of route keeps "loading ..."

I've recently updated to the new 1040 (FW 14.50) and used the Komoot IQ app already on my 1030plus. At this moment the thumb of the overall map isn't loading ... cfr. screenshot. I've already deleted the app, disconnected from my account etc ... nothing seems to work. Is this a known issue? For IQ integration Komoot is referring to Garmin ... this is the reason why I'm asking it to the  Garmin community.
